When it comes to makeup, I like to keep it classic and simple. For some reason, heavy eye makeup does not suit me very well – I guess that could be both a good thing and bad thing. Bad thing is – I can’t experiment much in this area. Good thing is – I don’t have to use very many products: All I need to look presentable are bold brows and fluttery lashes.
With that said, here is a roundup of my four daily eye makeup essentials:
Bite Beauty’s Multistick: This product is an eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick all in one. For the eyes, I just dab the tiniest amount on my lids. Nothing too crazy – just enough to add a bit of dimension. I have the shade, “almond,” but I feel like any color will do if you’re looking for something that adds a simple and natural depth to the eyes.
Maybelline’s Eyestudio Brow Drama Pomade Crayon: With this crayon, I don’t need a brow gel or any other eyebrow products. It creates the perfect amount of tint and keeps the hairs in place. The crayon’s thickness may seem intimidating at first, but I find it pretty easy to control. I also put just a little bit of the crayon onto my lower lash line to make my eyes open a bit more. I have the shade, “deep brown.”
Revlon’s Colorstay Skinny Liquid Liner: Like the name suggests, it’s “skinny,” which makes creating a thin, natural line quite easy! Best thing is – it doesn’t smudge and lasts for the entire day. I use the shade, “black out.”
Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara: This product is a cult classic. A lot of beauty bloggers recommend this product, and I don’t blame them! This mascara gives me great length, curl, boldness, volume, – everything!
There we have it! These are the four products that I would repurchase again and again (at least for now). What are your everyday eye makeup essentials?
